Our Story
Founded in 2021, Vertical Tech Garden is a Kenyan agribusiness dedicated to making food production possible for every household, school, and institution through innovative vertical farming solutions. We believe that everyone — from a family in a Nairobi apartment to a school in rural Kenya — deserves access to fresh, nutritious food grown right where they are.
Our journey began when we saw the disconnect between Kenya's urbanizing population and its shrinking agricultural land. By combining traditional growing knowledge with modern vertical farming techniques, we created systems that let anyone grow food in any space — no matter how small.
Growing a Movement
In just 5 years, we have become one of Kenya's trusted providers of multistorey gardening systems, helping families and organizations maximize small spaces while growing fresh, healthy, and organic vegetables. With over 7,000 multistorey gardens installed across more than 35 counties, and 50+ schools and learning institutions served, we've helped thousands of households produce nutritious food at home.
